Shadowlands Forum Commands

Click on a command to jump to a detailed description of it.

Conventions: On these command description pages, we always prefix a command with the ! character (for example, !here) because that's what you normally type to run the command. If you've changed your command character to something else, pretend our examples use that instead of !.

Also, in some "screenshots" here, you'll see a command line followed by its output, such as

    jeremy> !showaway
FORUM: The following people are away:
AWAY: matted: out of town for the day
When you actually run commands in Shadowlands Forum, the command line is erased before running the command.

We also show the syntax of commands in the format !beep <user>. The angle brackets '<' and '>' are to remind you to type a username in there, instead of the word 'user'. Don't type the angle brackets when you use the commands. Similarly. optional parameters are shown surrounded by square brackets '[' and ']', such as !timer <time-or-minutes> [public] ; again, don't type the square brackets here, just the word "public" if you choose to use it, or nothing if you choose not to.
